Officer Track — Security Officer (Kabat)

As a security officer, you're responsible for day-to-day security at bases, installations and units: keeping order, protecting property and classified information, and defending against threats like infiltration, attacks or espionage attempts. You assess security situations and adapt procedures, train soldiers and staff on security matters, oversee compliance with information- and facility-security rules, work together with other security bodies (Military Police, Shin Bet, Israel Police), and investigate security incidents to draw lessons. Security officers earn some of the highest pay in the army, both entering keva and afterward in civilian life.
