What the role is like
What you would be doing
the full text, nothing cutYou write code and build the operational and combat-support information systems the IDF depends on day to day and in emergencies. Training is hands-on rather than theoretical — constant drills, projects and hands-on lessons, adapted to each trainee individually. The work touches nearly every corner of high-tech and turns ambitious ideas into working systems.
What it is worth afterwards
Hands-on system-development experience — a direct route into high-tech work after the army.
