What you would be doing

You patrol Israel's border fences with battalion fighters — Lebanon, Gaza, Egypt, Jordan, Judea and Samaria — stopping infiltration and drug smuggling. Service runs on a week-on-base, week-at-home schedule.

What it takes to get in

Profile 64 and above.

Training

Basic training 02 and a 1C driving course at Bahad 6, earning permits for the vehicles used in your assigned sector.

Where you serve

Israel's border fences, alongside combat battalions.

What it is worth afterwards

A 1C driving license stays with you after the army.
