What you would be doing
Simulators are a core part of daily Air Force activity — training, preparation and drilling for extreme scenarios. You plan and run training through simulations of complex, dangerous scenarios for aircrews, drone operators, flight controllers and special-unit fighters, and you also give hands-on briefings on Air Force systems such as aircraft.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above, Dapar 60 and above, a technology track at 5 units and above (physics, chemistry, computers), Yom Ha-MEA: technical operation 3+, instruction 3+, sustained attention 3+, information processing 4+, spatial perception 3+, a security clearance, a commitment to serve under the "a woman's duty equals a man's" rule.
Training
Basic training 02, then a 6-week course, at the Flight School on Hatzerim base.
Where you serve
At one of the Air Force bases, closed-base.
