Precision Mapping Technician (Aerial Photography Unit)

You turn aerial photographs into precise maps that give commanders a clear picture of the ground. Working with GIS software and advanced imaging systems, you produce geographic products that let forces make decisions in the field with maximum accuracy. You're at the heart of the Air Force's technical work, feeding into engineering and operational planning, and you get involved in sensitive, operationally important projects.

Men with profile 45–64 and women with profile 45 and above, Dapar 60 and above, Yom Ha-MEA: information processing 3+, effort and persistence 3+, spatial perception 3+, sustained attention 3+, a security clearance, and an eye exam.

Basic training 02, then a 10-week course at Uvda base, at the Aviation Professions School.

At Air Force headquarters in the Kirya (open base) or at one of the Air Force bases (closed base).
