What you would be doing
You run the IDF's official accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube. You shoot content yourself out in the field, then edit and publish it. It takes a creative, self-starting mind and the ability to get people on the ground to cooperate with you.
What it takes to get in
Hebrew score 7 and above, Dapar 60 and above, profile 45 and above. Yom Ha-MEA: handling people 3, management and organization 2. Chances of passing selection, even for those who meet the requirements, are low.
Training
Tironut 02 and a roughly two-month spokesperson-professions course, followed by specialization as a social-media coordinator.
Where you serve
At the unit's base, Camp Aviv, or at Navy or Air Force headquarters in the Kirya.
What it is worth afterwards
Real experience creating and running social-media content — a direct path into a media career after the army.
