What you would be doing
You are the eyes of the fighters in the field, watching border sectors from command posts deployed around the country and working with some of the IDF's most advanced technology. You operate systems that detect and stop hostile actors threatening civilians, IDF forces or the border fence, direct combat forces during incidents, and report constantly to intelligence teams. After six months you can move into command and officer tracks, and later even become an instructor at the Border Defense School.
What it takes to get in
Profile 64 and above, Dapar 40 and above. Yom Ha-MEA marks: information processing 3 and above, teamwork 3 and above, dedication and perseverance 3 and above.
Training
Basic training 02, then 10 weeks at the Border Defense School.

Collection command posts (chamalim) deployed around the country.
