What you would be doing
You work in a team that maintains the unit's electronics systems and share responsibility for keeping them running. It takes a real pull toward technology, the ability to teach yourself a lot of varied material, working under pressure, independence and initiative, plus comfort standing in front of people and walking them through the material.
What it takes to get in
Medical profile 25 and above, Dapar 60 and above, a full matriculation certificate including 5 units of physics and 5 units of mathematics.
Training
A 3-month course on a closed base covering the basics of electricity, optics, logic, communications and more, plus study of existing systems — with verbal and oral exams that test how you handle pressure. After that, 3 more months of hands-on training within the team itself.
