What you would be doing
Atidim is a national nonprofit that helps kids from Israel's periphery get into higher education through the army's academic-reserve programs. You take one of two mashak roles: guiding candidates for the reserve track — talking with 10th- to 12th-graders and pointing them toward enlistment — or supporting students already in the program, helping with their financial and professional needs and visiting universities and colleges around the country.
What it takes to get in
Medical profile 25 and above, Dapar 50 and above.
Training
A personal mentoring process within the unit, with the pace set by your own abilities. Selection runs through several stages: tests, interviews and a security screening.
