Toms Track (Communications Systems Operator)

You operate and maintain intelligence systems — among them radio, satellite and other advanced communications gear. Along the way you go deep into communications interfaces, technological infrastructure, transmission, and both wireless and satellite communications, working in settings that range from the lab to the field, and from routine days to emergencies.

Medical profile 64. Open to 12th-graders; graduates of the science ("real") track and the electronics track can move into various roles in one of Military Intelligence's technological units. Acceptance is conditional on passing a security clearance investigation.

Tironut 02, then a roughly ten-week technological course at an Aman training facility, followed by a training track within the unit covering electronics, electromagnetic waves, computing, networking and in-depth study of advanced intelligence systems.
