What you would be doing
If advanced driving interests you, this is it: you operate a crane and pull stuck or damaged vehicles out with a recovery truck. You serve with heavy infantry battalions — Golani, Givati, combat engineering, artillery and armor — and you finish with a license for vehicles over 15 tons plus a civilian towing license.
What it takes to get in
Profile 64 and above, no prior traffic offenses.
Training
A 2–4 month course: a category-C license (vehicles over 15 tons) and a civilian towing license.
Where you serve
Heavy infantry battalions: Golani, Givati, combat engineering, artillery and armor.
What it is worth afterwards
A civilian towing license — a ready-made trade.
