What you study

Climate change and oceans, earthquakes, water resources, and environmental pollution are not just natural phenomena—they are global challenges that affect all our lives. The bachelor's degree

Earth sciences—geology, atmospheric sciences, oceanography, hydrology and water resources, and environmental sciences—study the processes that act on and shape Earth, the seas and oceans, and the atmosphere. The studies combine theoretical courses with mapping camps, laboratory work, field trips, and research cruises in the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Eilat. The curriculum includes foundational studies in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Later, students can choose one of the following specializations: geology, climate and atmospheric sciences, marine sciences and oceanography, or environmental sciences.
