These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.

- Applicants must pass the Yael exam with a grade of 85 or higher to enroll in colleges that do not use Hebrew as the language of instruction
- Applicants must take the Arabic entrance exam through Marmanet and receive a score of 70 or higher
- Applicants wishing to enroll in programs in humanities fields must have a bagrut certificate with 4–5 units in English.
- Entrance exam in Hebrew (Yael exam)Students with a score between 80–84 may be admitted as an exception (within the 10% quota).
- Students who meet the above requirements are summoned to appear before the special admissions committee for the program and take internal exams. The highest achievers among them are selected because places are limited.
