Admission requirements

You can be admitted through one of these tracks:

Regular track

suitability score

  • A suitability score of 610 or higher (based on the bagrut average and psychometric score)

By bagrut, no psychometric exam

High bagrut average

  • Bagrut average of 102 or higher

Another track

Departmental admissions committee

  • The admissions committee will review applicants who do not meet all the admission requirements listed above and may consider admitting them in special cases based on: membership in unique population groups; personal details and a unique background; special suitability for psychology studies. The proportion of applicants admitted through the exceptional-cases track will not exceed 10% of all applicants admitted to the department.

These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.

For every track

  • An English level of at least "Basic level" is required. A score of 80 or higher in the English section of the psychometric exam. Or a bagrut grade of 80 or higher in English (at least 4 units) for applicants admitted based on a particularly high bagrut average. Applicants who do not meet conditions A or B will be required to take a screening test at the college.
  • Applicants whose mother tongue is not Hebrew and who took the psychometric exam in a language other than Hebrew must present a score of 100 or higher on the Yael exam.
