You can be admitted through one of these tracks:
Regular track
Statistics and Data Analysis, double major | Admission based on the psychometric exam/Netiv La'Akademia exam(our wording)
- Quantitative sekhem: 630
- Mathematics: 80/4 or 70/5
- English level: Basic level
- Hebrew level for applicants required to demonstrate Hebrew proficiency: Level 5
- Applicants must meet the admission requirements of both departments
- Policy for review of exceptional cases: Applicants who meet the English and Hebrew requirements and have a psychometric score or sekhem up to 20 points below the required score, and a mathematics grade no more than 5 points below the required grade, will be reviewed by the department’s admissions committee based on all their application data.

A quantitative reasoning score of 137 or higher on the psychometric exam, and Mathematics at 5 units with a passing grade. 2. A grade of 87 or higher in Mathematics at 5 units. 3. Quantitative sekhem score of 630 + Mathematics 4/80 or 5/70

A bachelor's degree in Statistics and Data Analysis at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev gives you the opportunity to acquire advanced data analysis tools and combine them with another field that interests you.
Statistics focuses on 2 main areas: collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting quantitative data, and developing models for forecasting, drawing conclusions, and making decisions under complex conditions of uncertainty. Studies generally focus on probability, various methods of data analysis, and optimization methods—operations research. The curriculum includes courses that provide both theoretical knowledge and practical tools. Courses include mathematics, computer science, probability, statistical analysis and inference, statistical models, and operations research.
