You gather intelligence straight from the field — sitting in dedicated observation ambushes and operating advanced equipment. Your job is to spot and stop hostile infiltration and to protect Israel's borders.

Profile 82 and above for men and women (a profile of 72 with relevant conditions may sometimes be accepted). Women must pass the combat-women selection and commit to mandatory service equal in length to men's (32 months).

Tironut 05 (4 months) plus advanced training (4 months) with role-specific training. Qualified soldiers can go on to dedicated courses such as combat medic, combat driver, and equipment-certification courses — including operating vertical and horizontal observation equipment, including drones.
