What you would be doing
Air Force operations depend on stable, encrypted communications. You set up and run operational communications systems — in the air, on land and at sea, in Israel and abroad. You work with radio systems, satellite links and classified, encrypted information systems, sometimes right alongside operational units in the field.
What it takes to get in
Profile 72 and above, Dapar 40 and above, Yom Ha-MEA: technical operation 3+, information processing 2+, teamwork 2+, a security clearance.
Training
Basic training 02, then a 2-to-8-week course, at the Air Defense School.
Where you serve
At one of the Air Force bases, closed-base.
