Combat Humvee Operator

You operate and drive a Humvee that simulates an armored combat vehicle, training across complex, open and built-up terrain, day and night. Your service includes taking part in exercises from battalion up to division level that simulate a real battlefield, and it demands high personal responsibility and strict safety discipline.

Profile 72 and above and a category B driver's license. Yom Ha-MEA scores (women only): technical operation 3+, field 3+, instruction 2+, command 2+, teamwork 3+, discipline 2+.

Tironut 02 and about two and a half months of training, certifying you to operate and drive the Humvee across complex, open and built-up terrain, day and night.

The unit's headquarters is at Tzeelim base; training takes place across every sector in the country.
