What you would be doing
You pack and inspect parachutes for paratroopers and supply drops before every jump — a soldier's life depends directly on your work. The job demands seriousness, precision and close attention to detail, and you're trained by the best in the field.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above.
Training
Tironut 02 at Nitzanim, then a parachute-rigger professional course of about 7 weeks at the Marom base — starting with the main parachute (theory then practice) and then the reserve parachute.
