What you would be doing
You command and train new recruits in the Communications Corps, preparing the next generation of signalers. You study encrypted communications, wired and radio comms, and get exposure to the army's most advanced communication systems, while also learning to teach and speak in front of people.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above. Yom Ha-MEA scores, women only: instruction 3 and above, human relations 2 and above, management and organization 2 and above, command 3 and above, maturity 3.
Training
Basic training 02 and a 10-week course at Bahad 7 — a technical part on communication systems and a command part on teaching skills and public speaking.
Where you serve
At the National School of Communications, in field units (infantry, engineering, armor, artillery) and in Communications Corps headquarters units around the country.
