What you would be doing

You command and train new recruits in the Communications Corps, preparing the next generation of the Communications and Cyber Defense Directorate. You instruct on advanced communication systems for different groups — combat soldiers, reservists, officers, regular communications units, cadets and more.

What it takes to get in

Open to women only. Profile 45 and above. Yom Ha-MEA scores: instruction 3 and above, human relations 2 and above, management and organization 2 and above, command 3 and above. Security clearance required before enlistment.

Training

Basic training 02 and a 10-week course at Bahad 7 (training city). The course has two parts: a technical part covering the communication systems a commander needs to know, with field exercises, and a command part covering teaching tools, public speaking, and instruction and command techniques. Graduates wear a green command cord.

Where you serve

At the National School of Communications, in field units (infantry, engineering, armor, artillery) and in Communications Corps headquarters units around the country.
