What you would be doing
You keep communication systems running on mobile digital platforms — from battalion level up to the General Staff. In combat, whether commanders have digital communications depends on you. You constantly check that the equipment, the technological heart of the battlefield, is working.
What it takes to get in
Profile 64 and above, security clearance level 4, minimum Hebrew score 6, Dapar minimum 50, "operating environment" 3, information processing 3. No prior professional background required.
Training
Basic training 02 and about 8 weeks at the School of Communications, Communications Corps and Cyber Defense (Bahad 7), at the training city.
Where you serve
In units from battalion level up to the General Staff — open and closed units around the country.
What it is worth afterwards
You gain skills in operating digital systems and equipment upgrades — valued at civilian defense companies too.
