Dedicated Operational Officer Track – Communications Corps

You become a communications officer and command communications units at various levels, from brigade up to the General Staff. You take part in situation assessments and in planning and carrying out operational and classified activities, working with some of the IDF's most advanced technology. At the end of the course you're placed in a command role in one of the army's units.

For men with a rear-service profile and for women. Profile 45 and above. Must have data suited to the officer track and pass the general pre-military officer selection. Yom Ha-MEA scores: instruction 2 and above, command 2 and above.

Basic training 02 (about 3 weeks), a basic course of about 13 weeks, attachments to various units from brigade to regional-command level, a junior-command course (about 2 weeks), command training (about 3 weeks), officer courses (Nachshon/Maoz track) at Bahad 1 (about 10 weeks), and final soldier training (about 14 weeks) — all at Ariel Sharon Camp.

You'll gain command and management experience, time-management skills and experience working under pressure — valued in civilian management.
