What you would be doing
You collect and analyze data from IDF databases, find patterns in it, and help commanders make decisions based on facts instead of guesswork. You build data-visualization (BI) systems, code in Python, and present your findings to the people who requested them.
What it takes to get in
A profile suited to rear service for men, any profile for women, Dapar 60 and above, passing the computer-track selection, 32 months of service for everyone.
Training
A course of about 16 weeks in pre-military format at Basmach.
Where you serve
In software-development units across the IDF's corps.
What it is worth afterwards
An in-demand civilian data-analyst profession with Python, BI and statistics experience.
