What you would be doing
You run the encryption operation for your unit — from encryption gear to classified materials — and work with the SAP system. The role turns up in units all along the spectrum, from front-line and operational units to rear and technological ones, and it builds self-discipline and management skills.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above (not for combat service), security clearance before enlistment.
Training
About a 5-week course at Bahad 7 (training city).
Where you serve
In communications units under Military Intelligence, and in Ground Forces and Air Force units.
What it is worth afterwards
Management skills and experience handling classified materials — useful for a management career.
