What you would be doing
Weather shapes every operation the IDF plans — no flight, ground activity, drill or long-term plan goes ahead without input from the meteorologists. You work operational shifts at Air Force headquarters in the Kirya in Tel Aviv, and also at closed bases.
Training
Basic training 02, then a 14-week course.
