What you would be doing
You give commanders advanced communications in the field where there's no fixed infrastructure, setting up and maintaining mobile communications systems on vehicles. You work with command-and-control systems and encryption equipment, and you troubleshoot faults under a range of conditions.
What it takes to get in
Profile 64 and above, passing a security clearance. No prior knowledge required.
Training
A course of about 7 weeks at the National School of Communications and Cyber Defense (Bahad 7) at the Ariel Sharon camp.
Where you serve
From battalion level up to the regional communications battalion.
