Oketz Fighter (Canine Handler)

You're a combat soldier in the Oketz unit, working as part of a unique team with a trained unit dog used as an operational tool in the field. You go through full combat training plus dedicated training in working with dogs for combat, explosives detection, catching wanted militants, assisting special forces in raids and searches in open or clear terrain, and searching for missing people in disaster zones.

For women only. Profile 82 and above, high personal responsibility, mental resilience, ability to work in a team alongside independence and emotional maturity, self-discipline, commitment, and the ability to stick with a demanding and meaningful service.

Tironut 05 at the Home Front Command's training base, then basic advanced training certifying you as an Oketz combat fighter, followed by in-depth, dedicated training in canine work. At the end of training you join the operational company matched to the weapons/equipment track you trained in.
