What you would be doing
You're an infantry fighter in the only airborne brigade in the infantry corps. You go through infantry tironut at the Paratroopers training base, including a parachuting course, then join one of the brigade's three regular battalions (101, 202, 890) or the elite Paratroopers recon company.
What it takes to get in
Profile 82 and above, BMI 17–32, passing the selection process (gibush).
Training
4 months of tironut (rifleman 05), then 4 months of advanced training (rifleman 07), then 4 months in the training company.
