What you would be doing
This is a training track for instruction and command roles in the Technology and Maintenance Corps. After tironut at the School for Technology and Maintenance Professions, you go through a foundation course covering the basics of instruction. From there you can teach and command at Bahad 20, serve at the Chief Technology and Maintenance Officer's headquarters, or take on other instructional and command roles. You leave with proven professional skills — real ability to teach, instill values, and make technology understandable to the people you train.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above.
Training
Basic instructional skills (one week), an observation-NCO course (two weeks), and commanders' training (6 weeks), after tironut at Bahad 20.
Where you serve
Bahad 20 (Training City); test centers at Camp Shimshon, Camp Julis, and Katanar at Tel HaShomer; the academy at Tzrifin.
What it is worth afterwards
You leave with proven instructional and technical skills.
