What you would be doing
Before you even enlist, you earn a full 1C truck license, fully funded by the army, through the pre-military Yaad track — then you serve as a driver in various IDF brigades and units, doing operational or regular driving. It suits both men and women, especially anyone who loves the outdoors and extreme activity and wants an in-demand civilian trade.
What it takes to get in
Profile 45 and above.
Training
Acceptance to the Yaad track, a theoretical and practical stage, then — after passing the test — a draft order followed by basic training 02 and certification.
Where you serve
Any IDF unit, including elite and special units.
What it is worth afterwards
A truck license (category C and above) — an in-demand, ready-made trade.
