Admission requirements
You can be admitted through one of these tracks:
By bagrut, no psychometric exam
Admission based on a bagrut certificate without a psychometric exam
- Applicants with a bagrut certificate and an average of 90 or higher (including bonus points) will be accepted.
- With a bagrut grade of at least 85 in 4 units of mathematics, or a grade of at least 75 in 5 units of mathematics.
Regular track
Admission based on a bagrut certificate + psychometric exam
- Bagrut: average of 90 or higher, including bonus points (for studies at 4 and 5 units in mathematics, physics, English, chemistry, and computer science), and a psychometric score of 620 or higher (a score of at least 110 in the quantitative reasoning section).
For adults and those who have studied before1
Admission based on a practical engineer diploma
- Practical engineer with an average of 90 or higher in the external exams and final project
These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.
For every track
- Hebrew proficiency: Applicants to bachelor's degree studies must demonstrate proficiency in Hebrew.
- Introductory courses: Students admitted to the School of Industrial Engineering and Management must attend a summer course in mathematics and physics and earn a passing grade.

What you study
Industrial engineering and management is a broad, dynamic degree that combines several fields of knowledge and has grown alongside technological developments in industry. These developments have created a need to solve system-wide problems from an engineering perspective, and for engineers who can take responsibility for production, increasing output, streamlining systems, improving organizational processes, developing research methods, managing teams and departments, and more. Industrial engineering and management studies combine theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as engineering and technological knowledge alongside theories in the social sciences and management. Courses in the degree include: - core courses in mathematics and physics; courses in engineering theory (electrical and electronics engineering, materials, and manufacturing processes); courses in economics and finance (such as engineering economics, marketing, finance, and accounting); courses in organizational and management theory; and courses in programming and information systems.
