Transport planes like the Hercules and the Shimshon sometimes need to land at improvised airstrips to complete a mission. You scout suitable sites and prepare them as makeshift airfields; when the planes arrive, you run the field and keep flight operations there safe — you're the sole professional authority who clears a landing on the spot. The job calls for infantry skills, navigation and mobility.

Profile 82 and above, Yom Ha-MEA: teamwork 2+, maturity 2+, spatial perception 2+, sustained attention 2+, a security clearance, a commitment to serve under the "a woman's duty equals a man's" rule; an only child must waive that status.
