Meteor Track — Artillery Officer

This track trains you as both a combat soldier and an officer in the Artillery Corps, then lets you specialize in one of the corps' dedicated systems, giving you a wide operational view of the whole corps from the battlefield. As a Meteor graduate you become the go-to expert on matching fire and strike capability to the mission, in both routine security and war.

Dapar 60, plus a physical selection (gibush).

About a year: combat tironut (basic training) as a rifleman, level 05, with weeks of shooting, fieldcraft and urban warfare, plus basic fire-operation training and familiarity with every system in the Artillery Corps, sector patrols, operational-intelligence study, terrain and enemy analysis, and extensive field drills. You get early command experience, leading weeks and projects yourself soon after enlisting. After about 8 months you choose which artillery system to serve in as an officer, then attach to operational units before finishing with education and command weeks and a final week. The track ends in officer training and a one-year keva (career service) commitment.

The whole track runs at Camp Shivta, after which you're placed as an officer with one of the corps' Chatam units.
