What you would be doing

You drive combat vehicles — Humvee, Eitan, operational trucks and JLTVs — and teach other soldiers to do the same. You work mostly at night, alongside other combat units on raids, casualty evacuation and tunnel destruction. After service you come out with a category C driver's license.

What it takes to get in

Profile 82 and above.

Training

4 months of tironut (rifleman 05) at the Paratroopers training base, then rifleman 07, then about 8 months of a combat track in the unit.

Where you serve

In Unit 444 (Nivud), alongside special units and infantry battalions.

What it is worth afterwards

Category C driver's license.
