What you would be doing
You're a special-forces fighter who works in a pair with a combat dog. Together you carry out special operations — arrests, searches, covert infiltration — serving alongside other elite units. After about 8 months of training you get your own dog, and you train together for about 8 more months.
What it takes to get in
Profile 82 and above, passing an exposure day and the Oketz gibush.
Training
About 3 months of tironut at the Paratroopers training base, then a commando course and unit tironut. Total training takes 16–18 months, including working with the dog.
