Through a preparatory program

Graduates of pre-academic mechinas recognized by the Council for Higher Education

  • Graduates of a pre-academic mechina recognized by the Council for Higher Education at any higher education institution in Israel (universities and colleges) will be considered to meet the admission requirements for an academic degree.
  • The admission threshold will be determined according to the average grade in the mechina and will be equivalent to the regular admission threshold for the degree.
  • Mechina grades will be used to calculate admission instead of or in addition to bagrut grades, to determine whether applicants meet the admission requirements.

Special track

Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements

  • Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements may be admitted, up to 10% of the students in each study program. Such admission is possible only after a personal admission interview and for applicants with exceptional personal circumstances or other reasons, such as: improving access to higher education in Israel, the unique needs of diverse communities and the cultural character of society, exceptional achievement, volunteer work in education, extensive experience in instruction, etc.
For adults and those who have studied before1

30 Plus mechina

  • At Kibbutzim College, we offer applicants without a bagrut certificate the option of being admitted to a bachelor's degree (B.Ed.) through the 30 Plus mechina.

These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.

The requirements are in the institution's words. Names and labels marked "our wording" are our own, written from the same page.

For every track

  • All applicants will be invited to an individual or group personal interview
  • Applicants whose high school’s language of instruction was not Hebrew, and/or who took the psychometric exam in a language other than Hebrew, must present a score of at least 110 on a Hebrew knowledge test (Yael or Yaelnet exam) administered by the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation
  • Applicants registering for the college without a psychometric score are required to take the Amirnet exam before the start of studies to determine their English proficiency level
  • Eligibility for a bagrut certificate or an equivalent certificate approved by the Council for Higher Education.
