For every track

Admission to a bachelor's degree program in the Faculty of Design is based on the average grades on the bagrut certificate, the score on the aptitude tests, and the number of places in the program.
The aptitude tests include a take-home exercise, a practical exercise, a personal interview, and a portfolio presentation.
Portfolio: Your portfolio is an opportunity to give us a glimpse into your world and get to know your creativity, originality, sources of inspiration, and the details that make each and every one of you unique.
There is no admission threshold: Your score is assessed in relation to the scores of other test takers in the same session, and those with the highest scores will be admitted.
Bagrut: Eligibility for an Israeli bagrut certificate or a foreign high-school diploma.

What you study

Visual communication (formerly graphic design) involves visual design and communicating messages through different media across a wide range of practices: print, the internet, branding and advertising, illustration, comics, typeface design, and more. The program provides knowledge for creating a visual language, along with tools for expressing messages and ideas through design. It combines theoretical courses with practical, applied knowledge. Courses in the degree include art and design history, color fundamentals, composition, design thinking, visualization, drawing, image creation, illustration, typography, packaging design, video photography, animation and computer software, UX/UI, design and illustration, print in the modern era, letter design, websites and digital branding, apps and digital products, game design, and more.
