What you would be doing
You work with soldiers held at the Neve Tzedek military prison and other military detention facilities, helping them get through it without landing back inside. You run in-depth interviews, work out what's going wrong for the person, and together with the team build a plan for how they'll finish their service — sometimes with service-condition adjustments, a change of role, or other measures. Your work genuinely affects whether someone ends up back in prison.
What it takes to get in
Profile 25 and above, Dapar 70 and above. Yom Ha-MEA scores: human relations 3 and above, management and organization 2 and above, information processing 2 and above, command 3 and above.
Training
Military Police tironut and the Gachlat diagnostician's course, followed by about three months of on-the-job specialization until becoming a full diagnostician.
