You can be admitted through one of these tracks:

Regular track

Suitability score based on bagrut and psychometric exam

  • A valid psychometric score of at least 700. The last valid psychometric exam session for registration is the March/April 2026 session. SAT and ACT scores do not replace the psychometric exam for medicine

For reservists

Iron Swords

  • For applicants who served in the reserves for at least 90 days during the period from 1.1.26 to 30.4.26, or applicants serving in the reserves in a unit designated for forward deployment who served for at least 70 days during this period. Applicants are required to have an average bagrut certificate grade of at least 115.00.
  • Applicants will be admitted based on the combined scores on the non-cognitive tests (personal biographical questionnaire and assessment center), subject to a minimum passing score of 200 in the combined score on the non-cognitive tests

Regular track

Option 1 - Taking the psychometric exam in the July 2026 session

  • For applicants who performed at least 30 days of reserve duty during the period from 1.1.26 to 30.4.26, and spouses of reservists during the above dates who have children up to age 13, or applicants serving in a reserve unit designated "front-line assignment" who performed at least 25 days of reserve duty during this period
  • Applicants will take the psychometric exam in the July 2026 session.
  • If the determining suitability score meets the threshold for an invitation to Stage B, these applicants will continue through the selection process like all other applicants and will be admitted based on a suitability score calculated from an initial suitability score (bagrut and psychometric exam) and a weighting of the non-cognitive test scores.
  • To give those called up for reserve duty and their spouses with children under age 13 a fair opportunity to compete for admission to medical studies, the Admissions Committee of the School of Medicine has decided on admission adjustments for the 6-year program for the 2026/27 academic year. This is a temporary measure for the 2026/27 academic year's selection process only.
