You can be admitted through one of these tracks:

By bagrut, no psychometric exam

A. Admission based on the bagrut certificate

Eligibility for a full bagrut certificate with an average of 90 or higher, including English bagrut at 4 units.
Applicants with a score of at least 90 in the average for 3 units in Arabic, or a score of at least 80 in 4 units, or a score of at least 75 in 5 units.
An entrance exam in Arabic with a score of at least 75.

Regular track

B. Admission based on a suitability score (a combined psychometric score and bagrut average)

A suitability score of 535 or higher and eligibility for a full bagrut certificate, including English bagrut at 4 units.
Applicants with a score of at least 90 in the average for 3 units in Arabic, or a score of at least 80 in 4 units, or a score of at least 75 in 5 units.
An entrance exam in Arabic with a score of at least 75.

Through a preparatory program

Admission based on a pre-academic mechina in humanities and social sciences, totaling 780 hours, in accordance with Council for Higher Education guidelines

In addition, every applicant will go through an admissions committee.

Regular track

If you do not meet the admission requirements(our wording)

Preparation program for holders of a bagrut certificate with a grade of 75 or higher and English at 4 units / a supplementary course at the college, and a psychometric score or TIL score of 420.
(Applicants whose exam language is not Hebrew are required to take the Yael exam with a score of 110).

What you study

Hebrew language teaching certificate studies provide comprehensive academic knowledge of the language throughout its periods and styles, and introduce students to issues, research methods, and ways of understanding the structure of the language. The curriculum combines a comparative approach with the study of related Semitic languages to examine the development of Hebrew over the years and introduce students to new linguistic research methods. During their studies, students gain in-depth knowledge of linguistics, as well as tools for understanding and analyzing the rules that govern Hebrew grammar.
