What you would be doing
You're one of the key figures in bringing new soldiers into the IDF — commanding, instructing, keeping discipline and guiding recruits through their draft day. You're the first commander a recruit meets in the army, so you shape their entire first impression. You represent the army's spirit, lead by personal example, and make sure the draft runs in an organized, professional and respectful way.
What it takes to get in
Strong leadership, high personal responsibility and discipline. Good interpersonal communication and the ability to work with crowds. Patience, sensitivity and the ability to handle recruits under stress. Composure under pressure and efficient time management. Knowledge of draft procedures and the military system.
