For adults and those who have studied before1
Transfer track from The Open University of Israel
- Transfer track from The Open University of Israel: Completion of 3 of the following courses with an average of at least 85 and a grade of at least 80 in each: Discrete Mathematics: Set Theory, Combinatorics and Graph Theory (20476). Linear Algebra 1 (20109). Calculus 1 (20474).
- Eligibility for a bagrut certificate must be presented in this track.
These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.
The requirements are in the institution's words. Names and labels marked "our wording" are our own, written from the same page.
For every track
- In the adjusted-score track: mathematics level of 5 units with a grade of 85
- Bagrut track: 5 units of mathematics with a grade of 85. In addition, 5 units of physics/chemistry/biology/computer science (not Systems Planning) with a grade of 85
- In the psychometric track: mathematics level of 5 units with a grade of 80
- The Entrepreneurship track requires a special application form, a résumé and 2 recommendations. There is no immediate admission to this track; the thresholds shown are the minimum thresholds for reaching the academic admissions committee.

What you study
Computer science combines theoretical knowledge with practical, applied knowledge of using computer systems, as well as designing and building them. During the program, students must choose 1 or more specializations. Institutions offer various specializations, such as software development, internet technologies, signal processing and machine learning, artificial intelligence and machine learning, big data, communications and the internet, cybersecurity, hardware design, computer systems, signal and image processing, computer communications, software systems, and more. The curriculum includes foundational subjects in science—mathematics, physics, and computer science; in engineering—linear systems, digital systems, and electrical engineering; as well as theoretical and practical courses related to the areas of specialization. The program also includes a final project in the last year of study.
