You can be admitted through one of these tracks:

Regular track

Psychometric score

  • Psychometric score of 610 and a math bagrut grade of 85 at 4 units or 75 at 5 units.

Regular track

Psychometric score – admissions committee consideration range(our wording)

  • (Admissions committee range: psychometric score of 585 and a math bagrut grade of 85 at 4 units; psychometric score of 570 and a math bagrut grade of 75 at 5 units).
  • The admissions committee will consider applicants who do not meet the full admission requirements.

Special track

Review of exceptional cases

These are minimum requirements: meeting them does not by itself guarantee admission.

The requirements are in the institution's words. Names and labels marked "our wording" are our own, written from the same page.

What you study

Computer science combines theoretical knowledge with practical, applied knowledge of using computer systems, as well as designing and building them. During the program, students must choose 1 or more specializations. Institutions offer various specializations, such as software development, internet technologies, signal processing and machine learning, artificial intelligence and machine learning, big data, communications and the internet, cybersecurity, hardware design, computer systems, signal and image processing, computer communications, software systems, and more. The curriculum includes foundational subjects in science—mathematics, physics, and computer science; in engineering—linear systems, digital systems, and electrical engineering; as well as theoretical and practical courses related to the areas of specialization. The program also includes a final project in the last year of study.
